This is a good example of how a cycleway should start on a main road, rather than the usual dropped kerb, but the cycleway only goes around the roundabout and then is finished. There's not even a connection towards the new college (see #745 ... [more]

The towpath of the Forth & Clyde Canal is now paved all the way to Glasgow, with the exception of a couple of short sections around bridges.

Rebuilt path in Airdrie, that connects with NCN 75. The chicane barriers have been installed since there is a problem with motorbikes being ridden along here, although they are easy enough to get around.
