Another set of pedestrian crossings to revert to the west side of the A8 Eurocentral junction, since there is no footway around the western side of the roundabout anymore.

As with #100118, the crossing of the A8 is a pedestrian crossing.

Despite the toucan crossing at #100117, all of the other crossings at the A8 Eurocentral junction are pedestrian crossings. It's almost as if they have forgotten that this is/was a shared use route.

The end of the cycling infrastructure at Carfin.

No attempt to provide for cycling on the A89 through Bargeddie. This is usually crazily busy during rush-hour.

Uncontrolled crossing of A8 sliproad at the Showcase Cinema roundabout.

Path ends into driver's car door. Hope he doesn't decide to get out just as I approach.

No dropped kerbs on road crossing (marked with road studs) at exit from West Park.

No dropped kerb at entrance to West Park, leading to rubbish bike parking (see #80029).

Clearly this footway was not designed as a cycleway, and nothing has been done to convert it into one.

Is route 1a on the footway here? If so, dropped kerbs are needed for crossing Kings Drive (and pedestrians quite like them too).

The B802 carriageway isn't quite wide enough for the traffic using it. The dirty footway is covered in a mix of bike and HGV tyre tracks.

Poor transition between path and roadway, and the footway has a completely superfluous step.

Cumbernauld's cycle route 1 crosses the road here, but the dropped kerbs are not opposite each other.

The cycle lane turns left. You MUST Park and Ride!

Part of South Carbrain Road has cycle lanes. The other parts don't. And some drivers drive too fast. Plus there's the big roundabout up ahead at #67682.

A large roundabout at the intersection of Lye Brae, Kildrum Road and South Carbrain Road. The latter two have painted cycle lanes, which can be seen recommencing in the background.

NCN 75 turns right onto the path beyond the lamppost with the "Cycle Track Look Right" sign. Is the cycle route on the A73 carriageway or the footway? See also #51044.

Traffic calming by chicane on NCN 75 in Airdrie

Cyclists Dismount signs at road crossing, at Eurocentral A8 westbound on-slip

Road crossing at Eurocentral A8 eastbound off-slip, with both Cyclists Dismount signs facing the same way.

The dropped kerbs have been positioned away from the path entrances, and require users to cross the road diagonally, making some awkward turns on the narrow footways.

Uncontrolled road crossing on path between Airdrie and Calderbank, with non-standard warning sign. This is a National Speed Limit zone.

Sign patches on the ground show the way on NCN 75 in Coatbridge, along narrow footway under railway bridge and across dead puffin crossing (see also #43848).
